AI Architect

Hi! I'm Tom Pechulis. I'm currently an AI Architect at HPE, where I help enterprises design and deploy cutting-edge AI systems — from generative AI to large-scale infrastructure.

I studied Computer Science and Aviation Science at Baylor University, and I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of emerging technology, product design, and real-world impact. Outside of work, I spend time exploring the startup ecosystem, tinkering with home AI projects, and learning from builders pushing the edge of what’s possible.

Lately, I’ve been especially focused on scalable AI infrastructure, on-prem deployments, and helping businesses get real value out of modern LLMs

Let's get to know each other.

Tom Pechulis is an AI architect and technologist living in Santa Monica, CA

Tom currently serves as an AI Architect at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he designs and implements advanced AI infrastructure and solutions. His work spans generative AI, high-performance computing, and edge deployments, helping organizations operationalize large language models while ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a secondary major in Aviation Science from Baylor University. He has also served in technical sales roles, supported AI research efforts, and built home lab infrastructure to experiment with AI models and inference pipelines.

Outside of work, Tom is passionate about aviation, personal computing projects, and real estate. He’s also an avid fan of learning-by-doing — constantly testing tools, spinning up side projects, and exploring emerging tech with a hands-on approach.
